Job summary

Optus is seeking a Workforce Planning Analyst to optimise labour across our national store network. You’ll partner with Area Managers, Store Managers and the Centralised Scheduling team to turn data into actionable insights and improve workforce performance.

You'll analyse data, forecast demand, manage Dayforce rostering, time and attendance, and collaborate across scheduling, payroll, HR, finance and retail to boost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in workforce planning or similar operational planning role.
• Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel and data-to-insight skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication to influence frontline leaders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Area Managers and Store Managers to optimise labour budgets, workforce performance and scheduling outcomes across a national retail network.
• Analyse workforce data, forecast labour demand, and provide reporting and insights that support operational decision making and labour cost optimisation.
• Administer and optimise the Dayforce Workforce Management system, supporting rostering, time and attendance, payroll accuracy and workforce compliance.
• Work closely with scheduling, payroll, HR, finance and retail stakeholders to identify workforce improvement opportunities and drive continuous operational efficiency.
