Job summary

BUSY Group is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to advise leaders across Australia and international operations, guiding complex employment matters while balancing compliance with commercial outcomes.

You will lead investigations, interpret modern awards and legislation, coach leaders, and support redundancies and terminations. The role blends advisory work with policy development and strategic ER initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years' experience in Employee Relations, Industrial Relations or HR Advisory roles.
• Strong working knowledge of the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards and Modern Awards.
• Proven experience managing investigations, misconduct matters and termination processes.
• Ability to interpret legislation and provide risk-based advice.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert employee relations advice to leaders and managers across multiple jurisdictions.
• Lead workplace investigations, misconduct matters, disciplinary processes and performance management cases.
• Interpret modern awards and employment legislation to practical solutions.
• Support complex matters including redundancies, terminations and consultation processes.
• Coach leaders to manage employee concerns and performance issues.
• Create Workcover responses for psychosocial claims.
• Monitor legislative changes and reduce risk with proactive recommendations.
• Develop and maintain ER policies, templates and guidance materials.
• Analyse ER trends and case data to inform decisions.
• Support enterprise bargaining and employee consultation requirements.
• Contribute to People & Culture projects and strategic initiatives.
