Job summary

Latrobe City Council is seeking a Learning & Development Advisor in Morwell on a fixed-term, part-time basis (30.4 hours per week). This role is Band 6 with a salary range of $50.68–$54.97 per hour and a 5/10/2026–31/12/2026 term, with hybrid working requiring a minimum of three days in the office.

You will design and deliver learning programs, support leadership development, and partner with stakeholders to grow workforce capability across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, developing, facilitating and evaluating learning solutions that build workforce capability and support priorities.
• Knowledge of trainee, apprentice and early-career programs and engagement with education providers.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across a diverse workforce.

Responsibilities

• Design, coordinate and facilitate learning and leadership development initiatives.
• Lead induction programs and internal learning catalog development.
• Coordinate performance development resources and communications.
• Support trainee, apprentice and early careers programs.
• Partner with leaders to identify capability needs and create learning solutions.
• Evaluate outcomes and use data to improve programs.
