Job summary

City of Latrobe invites a Coordinator Safety and Wellbeing to lead the Council’s safety, injury management and child safety efforts in Morwell. You’ll work with People and Culture and partners across the organisation to build a safe, supportive environment for employees and the community.

This full-time fixed-term role (16/11/26 – 28/05/27), Band 7, offers hybrid work with minimum three days in the office and a chance to mentor a specialist team and shape wellbeing initiatives across the Council.

Qualifications

• Collaborative and influential leader focused on safe workplaces.
• Strong experience in workplace safety, injury management and/or child safety.
• Ability to interpret legislation and provide practical solutions across a large organisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and shape Council's approach to workplace safety, injury management and child safety.
• Mentor a specialist team and drive wellbeing initiatives across the workforce.
