Job summary

Optus is seeking a Learning Designer to create learner-centred experiences that drive performance and measurable outcomes. You will transform complex business needs into impactful learning across digital, virtual, and face-to-face formats, from needs analysis through evaluation.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and partners to identify capability gaps, apply accessible design, and leverage AI-enabled tools to scale learning programs.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in instructional design and end-to-end learning solution development.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop end-to-end learning solutions across digital, virtual, and face-to-face formats, from needs analysis and storyboarding through to delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify capability gaps and translate complex concepts into engaging, practical, and learner-focused experiences.
• Leverage learning technologies, AI-enabled tools, and modern instructional design practices to create scalable learning solutions that drive behaviour change and business performance.
• Evaluate learning effectiveness through data, analytics, stakeholder feedback, and learner insights, using findings to optimise programs and improve outcomes.
