P&C Partners Pty Ltd in Brisbane seeks a Financial Analyst to own budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis for the business. You will build and maintain dashboards, explain variances to stakeholders, and partner with department heads to improve performance.

The offshore team handles transactional work, leaving you with analysis and decision-support onshore. You will work closely with the Finance Manager, enjoy hybrid work, and contribute to month-end, statutory compliance and treasury tasks

Qualifications

• Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for a commercial business.
• Advanced Excel modelling from scratch and building financial models.
• Strong written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate the annual budget and periodic forecasts across the business.
• Analyse performance against budget, forecast and prior periods; identify drivers of variances.
• Build and maintain financial models behind planning and decision making.
• Prepare management reports, dashboards and commentary for leadership.
• Partner with department heads to understand drivers of results, opportunities and risks.
• Review offshore team work, including balance sheet reconciliations, without owning the transactional cycle.
• Support month-end reporting and financial close.
• Assist with statutory compliance, payroll support and treasury activity as needed.
• Contribute to finance projects, systems improvements and better ways of working.
