Job summary

Compass Group Pty Limited is seeking a Chef Manager for a rural NSW site, blending hands-on cooking with site management. This hybrid role oversees operations, accommodation and village services while leading a small team.

You can work FIFO from Sydney or DIDO if local to Cobar region, on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster. On-site meals and accommodation are provided, with salary up to $125,000 plus Superannuation.

Qualifications

• Must hold Australian Trade Certificate in Cookery (Cert 3 or 4).
• Experience leading a small team and managing costs.
• Strong food safety and HACCP knowledge is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations, accommodation and village services.
• Prepare, cook and serve quality meals according to menus and dietary needs.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and HACCP compliance.
• Monitor budgets, costs and inventory requirements.
• Maintain strong safety culture in line with HSEQ policies.
• Build strong relationships with client and on-site teams.
