Job summary

Compass Group Pty Limited is seeking Chef Managers for a hybrid Chef and Site Management role at a rural NSW site, with FIFO from Sydney or DIDO for locals in the Cobar region. You will oversee day-to-day operations while hands-on with food prep on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster.

Salary on offer up to AUD 125,000 + Super; meals and accommodation provided on-site. Join a global organisation focused on quality, safety and community impact.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Australian Trade Certificate in Cookery (Cert 3 or 4).
• Proven leadership of small teams in remote environments.
• Experience with budgets, P&L and cost control.
• Strong food safety and HACCP compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations, accommodation and village services.
• Prepare, cook and serve quality meals per menus and dietary requirements.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and HACCP compliance standards.
• Monitor budgets, costs and inventory requirements.
• Maintain a strong safety culture in line with HSEQ policies.
• Develop relationships with client and on-site teams.
