Job summary

AUSTRALIA PEO PTY LIMITED in Mulgrave, VIC is seeking a technical specialist to support residential and commercial battery energy storage systems, hybrid inverters, and solar PV projects. You will diagnose issues, assist with commissioning, and guide installers while coordinating with internal engineering teams.

The role requires a Master’s degree or higher, at least 2 years of engineering experience, and proficiency in English and Chinese.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of relevant engineering work experience.
Experience in both China and Australia.
Ability to work in both Chinese and English.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support for residential and commercial battery energy storage systems and related inverters and solar PV setups.
Diagnose and resolve inverter, battery, communication and system performance issues using documentation and monitoring data.
Support system configuration, commissioning, testing and ongoing performance optimisation.
Provide technical guidance to installers and customers on fault diagnosis and corrective actions.
Assist with technical escalations and coordinate with internal engineering teams to resolve complex issues.
Review electrical drawings and manuals to support troubleshooting and implementation.
Communicate technical findings and solutions to customers, installers and internal teams.
Support with battery management, energy management, metering and relevant protocols (Modbus, RS485).
Ensure compliance with Australian electrical standards, grid connection requirements and distributor processes.
Collaborate with sales and product teams on technical inquiries and product suitability.
