Job summary

Department of Communities and Justice NSW is hiring a Learning and Development Officer (DFSV) to design and deliver training that reduces domestic, family and sexual violence across NSW. This hybrid role supports staff across NSW with classroom, on‑the‑job and online training, ensuring alignment with DFSV practices and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver practical training programs for staff in classroom, on the job, or online
• Support employees throughout their learning journey and assess progress
• Develop training plans, strategies, policies and initiatives
• Measure training effectiveness and prepare reports and recommendations
• Identify training needs and skill gaps with managers and staff
• Ensure training meets RTO standards and regulatory requirements
• Deliver quality training amidst resource or organisational changes
• Keep learners engaged and apply DFSV principles in practice
• Stay informed about DFSV practice and training regulations
