Job summary

Sydney Water is seeking a Data & Systems Support Analyst to manage, maintain and support the systems, data and reporting that underpin critical engineering operations. You will ensure data integrity, develop dashboards, and drive improvements across a complex operational environment.

This role collaborates with stakeholders, implements automated workflows using Power BI, SharePoint and Excel, and contributes to audits and process optimisation in a hybrid Parramatta-based setting.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience supporting data analytics, reporting and business systems.
• Ability to translate technical information into business insights.
• Experience with Power BI, SharePoint, SAP, Excel or similar enterprise applications.
• Proven ability to work with large datasets and ensure data quality.

Responsibilities

• Extracting, analysing and maintaining data to support reporting and business performance outcomes.
• Managing and supporting business systems, software applications and reporting platforms.
• Developing and maintaining reports, dashboards and automated workflows.
• Investigating system issues and coordinating resolution with IT and vendors.
• Supporting process improvement initiatives through mapping and optimisation.
• Providing training and support to stakeholders on systems and data practices.
• Assisting with audits and data quality assurance processes.
• Supporting delivery of system enhancement projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
