Job summary

Marsh in Adelaide, SA, is seeking a Claims Consultant to join the local claims team. This hybrid role requires three days per week in the office at the Adelaide office.

You will work with councils, claimants, lawyers and assessors to provide claims handling support and timely resolution. You will contribute to a collaborative environment with focus on risk advice and civil liability matters, while building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience managing claims processes from inception to finalisation (not essential).
• Strong advocacy, negotiation and analytical skills.
• Data processing, analysis and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently within a team.

Responsibilities

• Undertake technical claims administration including gathering information, determining claims and processing payments.
• Support timely claims resolution and risk advice for civil liability matters.
• Build and maintain relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
• Provide administrative and claims management support to meet service standards and team objectives.
• Support onsite client servicing and ad hoc tasks as required.
