Job summary

Marsh Australia is seeking a Claims Consultant to join the Sydney office in a hybrid role requiring three days in the office each week. You will manage a portfolio of general insurance claims for Local Government clients, focusing on liability claims, within an initial 12-month fixed-term employment.

You will handle end-to-end processes, reserving, investigations and negotiate costs with third parties, while building strong relationships with clients, brokers and reinsurers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in claims
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service approach and client focus
• Ability to work in Australia and in a hybrid office setting

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end portfolio of Public Liability, Professional Indemnity and Property claims
• Conduct reserving, investigations and negotiate with third parties
• Build rapport with clients and stakeholders including brokers and underwriters
