Job summary

AGL Energy Ltd. seeks an experienced Business Analyst to join the Product Operations team in the Electrification & Innovation portfolio. The role supports discovery and definition of complex requirements across EVs, batteries and energy initiatives.

You will bridge Product, Technology and Operations, shaping options, clarifying system impacts and ensuring requirements are delivery-ready. This is ideal for an analyst aiming to deepen technical capability and impact energy solutions.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst or Technical BA.
Strong ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
Experience with SAP and energy retail systems is valued.

Responsibilities

Capture and translate business outcomes into clear functional and non-functional requirements.
Analyze processes, system interactions, data flows and operational impacts.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, vendors and stakeholders to assess options.
Produce artefacts like process maps, data mappings, business rules, user stories and acceptance criteria.
Facilitate workshops and build alignment across teams.
Support backlog refinement, testing, and release readiness.
Manage cross-system risks and dependencies.
