UNSW IT seeks an Associate Business Systems Analyst for a full‑time continuing role based at Kensington, Sydney. The position offers hybrid work with 2–3 days in the office and a starting salary of $118,483 plus generous superannuation and leave loading.

The Associate BA Analyst will support business and functional analysis, system testing, and data preparation for student services and administration, collaborating with senior team members to deliver high‑quality outcomes.

Qualificações

• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• Experience in business analysis, systems support, testing, or related role.
• Strong understanding of business analysis concepts, system functionality, and delivery practices.
• Experience documenting processes with BPMN, Flowcharting, or UML models.
• Experience in system testing, including test case development and defect tracking.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
• Good communication and collaboration skills across business and technical teams.
• Willingness to learn modern digital tools and AI in delivery contexts.
• Familiarity with MS Office, Excel, and diagramming tools.
• Understanding of UNSW aims, values and health & safety policies.

Responsabilidades

• Play a key role in business and functional analysis activities including gathering and validating requirements.
• Analyse and evaluate processes and system behaviours for improvement.
• Prepare and execute system and integration test scripts and track defects.
• Gather, analyse and interpret data for reporting and testing data preparation.
• Collaborate with senior analysts, developers, and other teams to support delivery.
• Develop and maintain documentation such as process flows and test cases.
