Job summary

Qantas Technology is seeking a Technical Product Owner for Conversational and Agent AI based at our Mascot, Sydney head office with a hybrid working model. You will own the Digital Assistant (chatbot) experience across website, mobile app and IVR, and drive AI-enabled solutions including asynchronous messaging, LiveChat and agent assist capabilities.

You will work with vendors and internal stakeholders to build the technical foundations needed to achieve the product vision, guided by Digital

Qualifications

• 5+ years as Technical Product/Platform Owner.
• 3+ years delivering Digital Assistant/Chatbot platforms.
• Strong understanding of GenAI, LLMs, RAG and NLP foundations.
• Experience building AI-driven workforce efficiency solutions.
• Vendor management and cross-functional leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction of Qantas' Conversational AI platform and Digital Assistant.
• Collaborate with vendors, suppliers and internal teams to deliver AI-enabled solutions.
• Balance innovation with reliability, scalability and cost efficiency in deployments.
• Lead delivery of emerging technologies within a regulated enterprise environment.
