Job summary

Strike Force Services is seeking an experienced HVAC / Air-Conditioning Technician to join our Tomago team. You will perform installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of commercial and industrial HVAC systems.

You’ll need a Refrigerant Handling Licence, a Trade Certificate in Air-Conditioning, and a current Driver Licence. Candidates with industrial HVAC experience and a strong service focus are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Refrigerant Handling Licence - essential.
• Trade Certificate in Air-Conditioning.
• Driver Licence - essential.
• Proven experience in air-conditioning and refrigeration.
• Industrial HVAC experience preferred.
• Working Safely at Heights certification or willing to obtain.
• White Card or willing to obtain.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Two work-related references.
• Pre-employment medical with drug and alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

About the Role

As a HVAC / Air-Conditioning Technician, you'll be responsible for a variety of installation, servicing, maintenance and repair work at our Tomago site. This involves commercial but also industrial HVAC systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Installation and commissioning of HVAC and air-conditioning systems.
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs and servicing.
• Routine preventative maintenance of HVAC equipment.
• Refurbishments, upgrades and renovation projects.
• Working closely with our client and our on site Facility Manager to deliver quality outcomes.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, professionally and to a high standard.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a qualified and experienced technician who takes pride in their work, enjoys variety and is committed to providing great service to our customers.

You’ll need:

• A current Refrigerant Handling Licence - essential
• A Trade Certificate in Air-Conditioning
• A current Driver Licence essential
• Proven experience in air-conditioning and refrigeration
• Experience preferred in an industrial HVAC setting
• Working Safely at Heights certification or willing to obtain
• A current White Card or willing to obtain
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Two work-related references.
• The ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
