Modus Projects is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician for full-time roles across multiple sites in Australia. You will travel daily between Retail and Petroleum locations, performing breakdowns, servicing, and both preventative and reactive maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration equipment, with support from a dedicated coordinator.

Responsibilities

• Travel daily between job sites including Retail and Petroleum locations.
• Carry out breakdowns, servicing, preventative and reactive maintenance and installation on HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Work with the head office and a dedicated coordinator for scheduling.
• Collaborate with technicians, contractors and project managers to complete projects efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain clear client communication and detailed service records.

About the Role

As part of our national expansion, we are looking for an experienced and reliable HVAC Technicians to join our team on a full-time basis in various locations.

This role will also be required to do overtime when required and be part of an after-hours Roster to meet our client needs.

Locations we are recruiting for:

• Port Macquarie - Candidate will be travelling within a 300km radius from this location
• Wollongong - Candidate will be travelling within a 200km radius from this location
• Central Coast - Candidate will be travelling within a 200km radius from this location
• Gosford - Candidate will be travelling within a 200km radius from this location

You will be responsible for:

• You will travel between various job sites daily, including Retail and Petroleum locations.
• Carry out breakdowns, servicing, preventative & reactive maintenance and installation on HVAC and refrigeration equipment
• Our dedicated head office team will manage your schedule, and you will have support from your own coordinator.
• Collaborate with other technicians, contractors, and project managers to complete HVAC projects efficiently and effectively.
• Ensure all work complies with local codes, regulations and safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with team members and maintain clear communication with clients to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Keep accurate and detailed records of work performed, including reports and service documentation.

Key Requirements:

• Formal qualifications in HVAC or refrigeration, such as a Certificate III or IV in Airconditioning & Refrigeration
• Current ARCtick National license for fluorocarbon refrigerants
• Valid driver’s license
• Proven experience as an HVAC technician, preferably a background in commercial HVAC systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A national police check and medical assessment will be part of the recruitment process
