Job summary

Strike Force Services is seeking an experienced HVAC / Air-Conditioning Technician to join our Tomago team. You will install, service and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC systems, collaborating with on-site management to deliver reliable outcomes.

The role offers a stable, long-term position with Monday to Friday 6am–2pm, no weekends or on-call, plus a tool of trade vehicle, fuel card and company devices.

Qualifications

  • Must hold Refrigerant Handling Licence as part of essential qualifications.
  • Trade Certificate in Air-Conditioning required or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in air-conditioning and refrigeration.
  • Experience in an industrial HVAC setting preferred.
  • White Card or willingness to obtain.
  • Pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening required.

Responsibilities

  • Install and commission HVAC and air-conditioning systems at Tomago site.
  • Diagnose faults and perform repairs and servicing.
  • Carry out routine preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment.
  • Undertake refurbishments, upgrades and renovation projects.
  • Coordinate with on-site Facility Manager to deliver quality outcomes.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

About the Role

As a HVAC / Air-Conditioning Technician, you'll be responsible for a variety of installation, servicing, maintenance and repair work at our Tomago site. This involves commercial but also industrial HVAC systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Installation and commissioning of HVAC and air-conditioning systems.
  • Diagnosing faults and completing repairs and servicing.
  • Routine preventative maintenance of HVAC equipment.
  • Refurbishments, upgrades and renovation projects.
  • Working closely with our client and our on site Facility Manager to deliver quality outcomes.
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely, professionally and to a high standard.
What We're Looking For

We're looking for a qualified and experienced technician who takes pride in their work, enjoys variety and is committed to providing great service to our customers.

You'll need:

  • A current Refrigerant Handling Licence - essential
  • A Trade Certificate in Air-Conditioning
  • Proven experience in air-conditioning and refrigeration
  • Experience preferred in an industrial HVAC setting
  • Working Safely at Heights certification or willing to obtain
  • A current White Card or willing to obtain
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Two work-related references.
  • The ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
