Job summary

Johnson Controls Australia is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to service and maintain commercial HVAC systems across diverse sites. You will diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance, and install equipment when required, while keeping thorough service records. Qualifications

• Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (or equivalent trade qualification)
• Refrigerant Handling Licence
• NSW Electrical Licence or Restricted Electrical Licence (or ability to obtain where required)
• Previous experience servicing and maintaining commercial HVAC systems
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Customer-focused with excellent communication skills
• Current driver’s licence
• Commitment to safe work practices and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine servicing, inspections, maintenance, and repairs on commercial HVAC systems
• Diagnose faults and troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently
• Carry out preventative maintenance to maximise system performance and reliability
• Install and commission HVAC equipment and components when required
• Complete service documentation and maintain accurate records
• Build strong relationships with customers through excellent service delivery
