Job summary

Daikin Australia is seeking a technically skilled professional to provide information and support on Daikin's product range. The role is based in our Perth Office in Forrestfield, WA, reporting to the Technical Supervisor.

You will help end users, dealers and service staff resolve issues with accurate information and data-driven guidance. The ideal candidate holds an HVAC trade qualification or engineering degree, is passionate about training others, and demonstrates excellent communication

Qualifications

• HVAC trade qualification or engineering degree required.
• Strong interest in the training aspect of the HVAC industry.
• Willingness to continually learn about HVAC technologies.
• Excellent communication and ability to build rapport with clients.
• Knowledge of HVAC and control systems preferred; service technician experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end users, dealers and internal service staff.
• Develop a relationship with the client to ensure requirements are met.
• Ensure information supplied is accurate and reliable.
• Utilise product data and service manuals to provide true and accurate information.
• Enter all calls into the database with a clear summary of the problem and recommended action.

About the role

With this role, you will be tasked with providing technical information and support regarding Daikin's product range and assist users to resolve any problems that may arise. This role will be based in our Perth Office in Forrestfield, WA. Reporting to the Technical Supervisor, the responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Provide technical support to End Users, Dealers and Internal Service Staff
• Developing a relationship with the client to ensure requirements are met
• Enhancing client confidence that information supplied to them is accurate
• Utilising the product data and service manuals to provide true and accurate information.
• Entering all calls into the database with an outline of the problem and the recommended course of action to the client.

About you

• HVAC trade qualification and/or degree in relevant Engineering degree
• Strong passion to step into the training aspect of the HVAC industry.
• Passionate to continuously learn & develop your knowledge across HVAC.
• Excellent communication and ability to build rapport.
• Knowledge of HVAC and Control Systems will be highly regarded.
• Previous experience in Service Technician will be highly recommended.
