Job summary

Sirius People is seeking an experienced HVAC Tech Support / Technical Service Engineer to join their team across Western Australia and New South Wales. The role focuses on providing expert technical support, diagnostics, commissioning and advisory services for VRF and inverter HVAC systems.

Ideal candidates have hands-on HVAC experience, a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning qualification, and current refrigerant handling and electrical licenses.

Qualifications

• HVAC hands-on experience with service, repairs and diagnostics.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and system schematics.
• Strong verbal and written communication with customers and partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical support for HVAC and air conditioning systems.
• Assist service partners with troubleshooting, diagnostics and technical queries via phone and email.
• Assist with spare parts selection and provide technical advice.
• Participate in and supervise site visits and commissioning activities.
• Support project delivery and ensure system performance.
• Manage and process warranty claims.
• Deliver technical product training to internal teams and external partners.
• Provide expert advice on VRF, inverter technology and wider HVAC systems.

HVAC Tech Support / Technical Service Engineer

Technical Service Engineer/ HVAC Tech Support – HVAC WA & NSWFull-Time | Permanent

We are looking for experienced HVAC Technicians to join a leading organisation as Technical Service Engineers across Western Australia and NSW.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong hands-on HVAC experience who is ready to transition into a more technical, support-focused role while continuing to utilise their industry knowledge and expertise.

You’ll become the go-to technical expert, supporting customers and service partners with troubleshooting, diagnostics, commissioning and technical advice across a range of advanced HVAC systems, including VRF and inverter technology.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing expert technical support for HVAC and air conditioning systems
• Supporting service partners with troubleshooting, diagnostics and technical queries via phone and email
• Assisting with spare parts selection and providing technical advice
• Participating in and supervising site visits and commissioning activities
• Supporting successful project delivery and system performance
• Managing and processing warranty claims
• Delivering technical product training to internal teams and external service partners
• Providing expert advice on VRF, inverter technology and wider HVAC systems

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Certificate III in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
• Current Refrigerant Handling Licence – mandatory
• Restricted Electrical Licence – mandatory
• Strong experience in HVAC service, repairs and diagnostics
• Proven fault-finding and technical troubleshooting skills
• Strong knowledge of VRF and inverter technology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and time management abilities
• The ability to confidently support customers and technical service partners
