Job summary

Sirius People in WA/NSW is seeking an experienced Technical Service Engineer to support HVAC systems, troubleshoot, and advise customers across Western Australia and New South Wales. This role transitions hands-on technicians toward a more technical, service-focused career while leveraging VRF and inverter technology.

You will lead site visits, assist with commissioning, support partners via phone and email, and help with warranty processing.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning is required.
• Refrigerant Handling Licence is mandatory.
• Restricted Electrical Licence is mandatory.
• Strong hands-on HVAC service, repairs and diagnostics experience.
• Proven fault-finding and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of VRF and inverter technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical support for HVAC and air conditioning systems.
• Support service partners with troubleshooting, diagnostics and technical queries via phone and email.
• Assist with spare parts selection and provide technical advice.
• Participate in and supervise site visits and commissioning activities.
• Support successful project delivery and system performance.
• Manage and process warranty claims.

Technical Service Engineer/ HVAC Tech Support - HVAC WA & NSWFull-Time | Permanent

We are looking for experienced HVAC Technicians to join a leading organisation as Technical Service Engineers across Western Australia and NSW.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong hands-on HVAC experience who is ready to transition into a more technical, support-focused role while continuing to utilise their industry knowledge and expertise.

You’ll become the go-to technical expert, supporting customers and service partners with troubleshooting, diagnostics, commissioning and technical advice across a range of advanced HVAC systems, including VRF and inverter technology.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include

• Providing expert technical support for HVAC and air conditioning systems
• Supporting service partners with troubleshooting, diagnostics and technical queries via phone and email
• Assisting with spare parts selection and providing technical advice
• Participating in and supervising site visits and commissioning activities
• Supporting successful project delivery and system performance
• Managing and processing warranty claims

  About You

  To be successful in this role, you will have:
