Job summary

Candii in Perth is seeking an experienced HVAC service estimator to own pricing for commercial maintenance contracts. You will develop quotes from quick-turnaround service to tenders up to multi-million dollars, and you will manage whole submissions across a national client base.

Reporting to the National Estimator, you will build pricing from first principles, coordinate with service teams and subcontractors, and ensure competitive, compliant proposals that win work while protecting margins.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in an estimating role
• Commercial HVAC, mechanical services or building services background
• Ability to read a scope and price the risk
• Strong written communication
• Confidence working with pricing schedules, procurement documents and digital systems
• Excellent organisational skills and the discipline to manage deadlines
• Located North of the River; Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

Responsibilities

• Price and prepare commercial HVAC maintenance proposals and contract renewals
• Lead pricing and submissions for new maintenance tender opportunities
• Build pricing from first principles, covering labour staging, scheduling, equipment scopes and whole of contract cost
• Interrogate scopes of work, specifications, pricing schedules and procurement documents
• Work with service teams, branch managers and subcontractors to confirm pricing, scope and service requirements
• Manage submission requirements and deadlines across multiple live opportunities
