Morson Edge (Australia) is partnering with a well-established Sydney HVAC and Mechanical Services contractor to recruit Intermediate and Senior Estimators for large-scale projects. You will prepare detailed HVAC/mechanical estimates, review drawings, and coordinate pricing for hospitals, data centres, and major commercial developments.

Qualifications

• Experience as Intermediate or Senior Estimator in HVAC/Mechanical Services contracting.
• Exposure to Tier 1 or major projects.
• Experience delivering estimates for hospitals, data centres, or major commercial developments.
• Projects valued up to $80M.
• Advanced Bluebeam capability.
• Strong Excel and cost analysis skills.
• Ability to interpret complex drawings and specs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Stable employment history in mechanical services.

Responsibilities

• Preparing accurate HVAC/mechanical estimates and tender submissions.
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and contract documentation.
• Performing detailed take-offs and cost planning.
• Coordinating supplier and subcontractor pricing.
• Supporting delivery of large-scale commercial, healthcare, and data centre projects.
• Managing multiple tenders within deadlines.
• Utilising Bluebeam and Excel extensively in estimating.
• Assisting with value engineering and cost optimisation.
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders throughout the tender lifecycle.
