Core Talent in Sydney is seeking an HVAC Estimator to lead estimating and procurement for commercial and high-rise projects, reporting directly to senior management. This sole-charge role offers autonomy and long-term stability within a tight-knit mechanical contractor.

You will prepare comprehensive HVAC estimates, perform detailed take-offs, analyse drawings, specify plant equipment, issue purchase orders, and support project handover and procurement from suppliers.

Qualifications

• Detailed take-offs from drawings and specifications
• Analyse subcontractor quotations and vendor proposals
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and commercial/building services

A well-established Mechanical Services contractor based in Northern Sydney is looking to bring on a HVAC Estimator to lead their Estimating

This is a sole-charge estimating role, reporting directly to Senior Management, offering genuine autonomy and long-term stability within a tight-knit mechanical contractor.

You’ll be responsible for HVAC estimating and procurement across commercial and high-rise projects ranging from $1M – $10M.

As HVAC Estimator you will be:

• Producing comprehensive HVAC estimates for Commercial and Residential projects
• Completing detailed take-offs, analysing drawings, specifications, and subcontractor quotations
• Managing procurement of major plant and equipment
• Issuing purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers
• Supporting project handover to the delivery team
• Liaising with subcontractors and internal stakeholders
• Offered opportunities to progress and grow

For this role the offered renumeration package is circa $130-150K plus super
