Job summary

Carrier Australia is looking for a motivated and reliable Air Conditioning Apprentice to join our team. This position combines on-the-job training with formal TAFE studies, gaining exposure to installation, servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repair of HVAC and air conditioning systems.

You’ll learn fault finding, safety and documentation while supporting installation and commissioning across customer sites; travel as needed and grow into a qualified technician.

Qualifications

• No extensive industry experience required; attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, servicing and maintenance of HVAC equipment.
• Learn fault-finding and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and servicing.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of HVAC systems.
• Develop hands-on skills through on‑the‑job training and TAFE studies.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Adhere to Carrier's safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Attend TAFE and complete apprenticeship training and assessments.
• Travel to customer sites as required.
• Work professionally with customers and colleagues.
