Job summary

Carrier Australia is seeking a motivated Air Conditioning Apprentice to join our team. This role blends on‑the‑job training with formal TAFE studies, focusing on installation, servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repair of HVAC systems.

You'll work alongside experienced technicians, learn to use tools safely, and attend apprenticeship training while earning hands-on experience across customer sites. Eligible to work in Australia and holding a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, servicing and maintenance of HVAC equipment.
• Learn fault-finding and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and servicing.
• Support installation and commissioning of HVAC systems.
• Learn to safely use hand and power tools.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Follow Carrier’s health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Attend TAFE and complete apprenticeship training.
• Develop technical knowledge through hands-on experience.
• Work professionally with customers and colleagues on various sites.
