Job summary

RSGx is seeking experienced HV Test Technicians and Engineers to join our team on mission-critical energy, renewable, and utility projects across Victoria. You will perform high-voltage testing with primary and secondary injections, protection relays, and switchgear, while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Electrical trade qualification and HV switching ticket with proven experience in HV testing and commissioning.
• Experience working with various OEM protection relays.
• HV switching and operations experience.
• Experience with protection relays and switchgear.
• Site-specific HV authorisations

Responsibilities

• Protection relay and HV cable, transformer, CT/VT testing
• Primary and secondary injection testing
• Circuit breaker timing and contact resistance testing
• Primary Transformer and HV Switchgear Testing
• Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations
• Conducting fault finding and problem-solving in HV Protection systems
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of completed work
• Adhering to all company and site-specific safety procedures
• Secondary Injection Protection Testing for those with secondary experience
