Job summary

RSGx is seeking experienced Mechanical Commissioning Technicians to join a major infrastructure project in Karratha, WA. This role offers exposure to industry-leading standards, modern test equipment, and the opportunity to contribute to critical mining and infrastructure work in WA.

You will support mechanical commissioning, testing and handover of fixed‑plant equipment, collaborate with construction, commissioning, engineering and operations teams, and assist with pre‑commissioning,

Qualifications

• Australian-recognised Mechanical Fitter / Fitter & Turner Trade Certificate.
• Construction Card (White).
• Working At Heights.
• Confined Space Entry.
• Australian Working Rights.
• Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the mechanical commissioning, testing and handover of fixed-plant equipment.
• Work closely with construction, commissioning, engineering and operations teams throughout the commissioning process.
• Verify mechanical completion and ensure equipment has been installed in accordance with project requirements.
• Assist with pre-commissioning, functional testing, inspections and fault identification.
• Support defect rectification and punch-list close-out activities.
• Ensure equipment is tested, compliant and ready for safe operation and handover to the operations team.

• We require someone with Lube Flushing experience
  
• Strong exposure to Mechanical commissioning
