Job summary

RSGx Engineering is seeking an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to join our growing Engineering team in Australia. You will lead electrical delivery across complex projects spanning rail, infrastructure, energy and data centres, providing technical direction from concept through to delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• Demonstrated experience leading electrical engineering outcomes across complex multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong technical capability across electrical systems and building/infrastructure disciplines.
• Knowledge of Australian Standards and regulatory requirements.
• Experience delivering engineering design, calculations, and documentation.
• Proficiency with relevant engineering and design software.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Chartered status with Engineers Australia, or progress towards Chartership.

About you
As an electrical or M&E specialist leader, your background may be in building services, or you may have developed your experience across major infrastructure sectors within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 consulting, engineering, or design environment. Experience in either setting will be highly regarded.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience leading electrical engineering outcomes across complex, multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong technical capability across electrical engineering and building or infrastructure systems, with experience delivering integrated design solutions.
• Sound knowledge of relevant Australian Standards, codes and regulatory requirements.
• Experience overseeing engineering design, calculations, technical documentation and deliverables.
• Proficiency with relevant engineering and design software.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated technical leadership, with the ability to mentor engineers and influence project outcomes.
• Chartered status with Engineers Australia, or progress towards Chartership, will be highly regarded.
