Job summary

RSGx is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join a major tunnelling and infrastructure project in Melbourne. You will drive LV and ELV electrical packages from design coordination through construction and commissioning, collaborating with design, CPS and commissioning teams.

The role requires hands-on site delivery experience, ability to review drawings and models, and a strong focus on RFIs and ITR close-out to maintain progress and quality on site.

Qualifications

• Must have LV and ELV package delivery experience.
• Familiarity with CPS installation and testing.
• Experience reviewing drawings and models.
• Strong knowledge of RFIs and ITR close-out.
• Strong coordination across design, construction and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical drawings and 3D models.
• Drive construction, installation and completion activities.
• Coordinate with design teams and CPS teams.
• Manage RFIs and ITR close-out.
• Maintain a regular site presence to monitor installation quality.
• Ensure installations are completed in line with approved designs and models.
• Coordinate across design, construction and commissioning teams to resolve issues and maintain progress.

• Strong coordination skills across design, construction and commissioning disciplines
• A quality-focused approach and willingness to maintain a strong site presence
• Electrical engineering qualifications
• HV experience is advantageous, but not essential
