Job summary

RSGx is delivering a major tunnelling and infrastructure project in Melbourne. We seek an Electrical Project Engineer to drive LV and ELV packages from design coordination through construction, installation and completion, collaborating with design, CPS and commissioning teams.

You will review drawings, coordinate across disciplines, manage RFIs and ITR close-outs, and maintain a strong on-site presence to ensure designs are implemented accurately.

Qualifications

• Proven construction delivery experience with LV and ELV packages.
• Experience reviewing electrical drawings and 3D models.
• Strong knowledge of RFIs and ITR close-out.
• Ability to coordinate across design, construction and commissioning teams.
• Willingness to maintain a strong site presence.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical drawings and 3D models.
• Drive construction, installation and completion activities.
• Coordinate with design teams and CPS teams.
• Manage and work through the RFI process.
• Drive completion and close-out of ITRs.
• Ensure installations are completed in accordance with approved designs and models.

The opportunity
RSGx is seeking experienced Electrical Project Engineers to join a major tunnelling and infrastructure project in Melbourne.
You’ll be responsible for driving LV and ELV electrical packages from design coordination through construction, installation and completion, working closely with design, construction, CPS and commissioning teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Review electrical drawings and 3D models
• Drive construction, installation and completion activities
• Coordinate with design teams and Control and Protection Switchgear (CPS) teams
• Manage and work through the RFI process
• Drive completion and close-out of ITRs
• Ensure installations are completed in accordance with approved designs and models
• Coordinate across design, construction and commissioning teams to resolve issues and maintain progress

About You

You’ll bring proven construction delivery experience delivering LV and ELV packages, including:

• Familiarity with CPS installation and testing
• Experience reviewing drawings and models
• Strong knowledge of RFIs and ITR close-out
• Strong coordination skills across design, construction and commissioning disciplines
• A quality-focused approach and willingness to maintain a strong site presence
• Electrical engineering qualifications
• HV experience is advantageous, but not essential
