Job summary

Hitachi Energy based in Smithfield, NSW, seeks a highly organized Service Planner to join the High Voltage Service team. You will act as the central coordination point between customers, field service teams, sales, supply chain, and project stakeholders to mobilize resources.

This role focuses on planning HV field service activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable delivery across Australia, with a clear emphasis on customer service and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Diploma/TAFE qualification or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in service planning, scheduling, resource coordination, or field service operations.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate HV field service activities (installation, commissioning, inspection, maintenance, repair).
• Develop and maintain service schedules using Salesforce Field Service Management.
• Coordinate technicians, subcontractors, tooling, materials and logistics.
• Ensure site access, inductions, permits and competency requirements before mobilization.
• Monitor service orders from handover to invoicing and closure.
• Manage backlogs and support on-time delivery, revenue and utilization targets.
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement via reporting and performance monitoring.
