Job summary

Hitachi Energy Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a highly organized HV Service Planner to join the High Voltage Service team in Smithfield, NSW. You will coordinate field service activities across Australia, ensuring resources, tooling, materials, and personnel are mobilized efficiently.

Working with customers, field teams, sales, and supply chain, you will develop schedules in Salesforce Field Service, manage access, safety, and certifications, and drive on-time delivery and service quality.

Qualifications

• Diploma, TAFE qualification, or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in service planning, scheduling, or field service operations.
• Strong organizational, time-management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate High Voltage field service activities including installation, commissioning, inspection, maintenance, repair, retrofit, and digitalization projects.
• Develop and maintain service schedules using Salesforce Field Service.
• Coordinate technicians, subcontractors, tooling, materials, and logistics.
• Ensure site access, inductions, permits, and certifications are in place before mobilization.
• Monitor service order execution from the project handover through to completion and invoicing.
• Manage order backlogs and support achievement of on-time delivery, revenue, and utilization targets along with customer satisfaction.
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement through reporting, customer feedback, and operational performance monitoring.
