ACCIONA is seeking dedicated Electrical Trade Assistants to support the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone project. The remote 14 days on/7 days off roster involves assisting electricians at 330kV/500kV switching stations across NSW, with bus transport from Sydney and DIDO arrangements for NSW residents.

This is a hands-on role on large transmission infrastructure projects. Applicants must hold a Construction White Card and have a mechanical/electrical aptitude; HV training is often

Qualifikationen

• Valid Construction White Card for entry onto construction sites.
• Experience in high-voltage environments or strong mechanical/electrical aptitude valued.
• LVR/CPR or willing to obtain High Risk Work license; EWP Telehandler Gold Card preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assist electricians with installation and assembly of HV switching station equipment.
• Assist with cable hauling, cutting, laying and dressing of power/control cables.
• Support installation of electrical equipment, structures, busbars and related infrastructure.
• Prepare and manage specialised tools and equipment for electrical crews.
• Assist with pre-start inspections and report defective equipment.
• Provide general labour support including material handling and site prep.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping.
