Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking experienced Substation Electricians for the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone project in NSW. You will work on 330kV/500kV substations, installing and testing high- and low-voltage equipment, and supporting commissioning teams in a safety-focused environment.

The role operates on a 14 days on / 7 days off roster, with bus transport from Sydney. Applicants from NSW only; DIDO and travel arrangements are at candidate's expense. Not FIFO.

Qualifications

• Current NSW Electrical Licence is required.
• White Card and LVR/CPR certifications.
• Experience with HV substations or renewable energy projects is preferred.
• EWP licence and working-at-heights within 2 years.
• Valid Driver's Licence and ability to travel to site.

Responsibilities

• Install and terminate high- and low-voltage power and control cabling.
• Install and connect primary plant including transformers and breakers.
• Install secondary systems including protection panels and control wiring.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and diagrams.
• Complete cable glanding, termination, testing and pre-commissioning.
• Assist with electrical testing, fault finding and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with Australian Standards and safety procedures.
• Maintain safety, quality and environmental compliance on site.
