Job summary

1673 ACCIONA CONSTRUCTION AUSTRALIA PTY LTD in Sydney NSW is seeking a Site Engineer – Electrical to support substation works within the Central-West Orana REZ project. You will supervise electrical construction activities, ensure QA/QC, and coordinate with JV teams to meet safety, cost and schedule targets.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 2–5 years' post-graduate experience in construction or engineering, plus HS&E regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–5 years' post-graduate experience in construction or engineering.
• Working knowledge of HS&E and regulatory requirements.
• Experience on substation projects is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality and environmental standards to keep the project on track.
• Record non-conformances and drive corrective actions quickly.
• Prepare inspection test reports and checklists meeting contract requirements.
• Plan materials, resources and construction methods to protect cost, quality and schedule.
• Monitor progress and coordinate activities to keep the schedule.
• Ensure contract requirements are met at crew level.
• Coordinate resources, track subcontractor performance and lead daily cost planning.
