Job summary

Talon Recruitment Solutions seeks a genuine new-business hunter to own end-to-end sales across managed IT, cloud, infrastructure and cybersecurity. You will build your pipeline from scratch via outbound prospecting, referrals and networking, and drive the full cycle from first contact to close.

Ideal candidates have a proven hunter record, strong outbound experience and comfort engaging senior stakeholders to create opportunities with a broad portfolio of high-value IT solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven hunter mentality with a track record of winning new customers.
• Strong self-generated pipeline experience and outbound activity.
• Confident engaging senior stakeholders and managing multi‑stakeholder sales.
• Ability to create opportunity from a standing start and target the right accounts.

Responsibilities

• Generate your own pipeline through cold calling, LinkedIn, email, networking and referrals
• Identify target accounts and map decision-makers (owners, directors, CIOs, IT Managers and other senior stakeholders)
• Persist when one contact doesn’t respond - find another path into the organisation
• Run the full sales cycle from first conversation through to close
• Sell across a broad solution set: Managed IT Services, Cloud, Infrastructure, Networking, Backup & Disaster Recovery, Enterprise Technology, Professional Services and Cyber Security
• Partner with Marketing on campaigns and content, while remaining independently capable of creating opportunities
• Work to clear revenue and new-business targets
