Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited in Canberra seeks a senior hunter to define and lead the strategy for new customer acquisition in the region. You will drive growth through alliances, industry engagement and thought leadership, acting as the executive face of the company at forums and with key prospects.

You will personally sponsor strategic pursuits, conduct market research, mentor the hunting team, and report on pipeline health and wins to inform strategic planning.

• Define the overall hunting and new customer acquisition strategy aligned with company growth objectives
• Build a strong brand presence in the target markets through partnership and industry alliances
• Act as executive face of the company in industry forums, prospect meeting and thought leadership
• Personally sponsor and drive closure of the most strategic and high value pursuits
• Market research, win/loss patterns and industry shifts to refine go-to-market approach
• Mentor and coach Hunters on prospecting techniques, objection handling, and closing strategies to improve team performance
• Regularly report on pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and key wins to senior leadership, providing insights for strategic planning
