Job summary

RX France is seeking a commercially driven Business Development / Account Manager for a Sydney-based portfolio of leading Australian exhibitions spanning sectors such as video gaming, energy and e-commerce. The role blends new business development with account management, in a phone-led, hybrid work environment.

You will prospect, manage partnerships and close valuable commercial opportunities, owning a 50/50 split between new business and existing accounts.

Qualifications

• Strong phone-based B2B sales and account management experience.
• Hunter mentality with ability to generate own leads.
• Experience with consultative, value-based selling.
• Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
• Ability to engage marketing, sales and business decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and win new exhibitors through outbound calling.
• Grow relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Build pipeline and follow up sales opportunities.
• Use consultative, value-based selling to meet customer goals.
• Develop tailored commercial solutions rather than transactional selling.
• Confidently handle objections, negotiate and close.
• Respond to inbound inquiries while maintaining outbound focus.
• Maintain accurate customer, pipeline and activity data in Salesforce.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver events.
• Attend and support exhibitions in your portfolio.
