Job summary

RELX RX is recruiting a commercially driven Business Development / Account Manager to drive revenue across major Australian exhibitions including Video Gaming, Energy and E-commerce. This is a 50/50 mix of new business and account management in a phone-led role, with flexible hybrid working arrangements and genuine earning potential.

You will manage a portfolio of leading events, prospect and close opportunities, and collaborate with marketing, sales and delivery teams to ensure successful

Qualifications

• Strong phone-based B2B sales and account management experience.
• Hunter mentality with ability to generate own leads.
• Experience using consultative and value-based selling techniques.
• Excellent objection handling and closing skills.
• Ability to engage with marketing, sales, and business decision-makers.
• Experience in events, media, gaming, or e-commerce is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting and winning new exhibitors through outbound calling and self-generated leads.
• Managing and growing relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Building a healthy pipeline and following up sales opportunities.
• Using consultative, value-based selling to understand goals and challenges.
• Negotiating and progressing opportunities to close.
• Collaborating with internal teams to support the successful delivery of each event.
