Zeekr Sydney City is seeking an HR Coordinator to support day-to-day HR operations across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and HR reporting.

You will maintain employee records, assist with payroll and attendance, and provide timely HR support to employees, managers and stakeholders while upholding confidentiality and compliance.

Qualifications

  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Commerce, Psychology, Law or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Previous experience in an HR Administrator, HR Assistant or similar role is advantageous; however, recent graduates with a relevant qualification and a strong interest in developing a career in HR are encouraged to apply.
  • A general understanding of Australian employment practices is desirable, with a willingness to learn and develop practical HR knowledge.
  • Applicants must hold current and valid working rights in Australia that allow you to meet the requirements of this position. Please note that employer-sponsored visa support is not available for this role.
  • A current and valid NSW Driver Licence is preferred.

Responsabilités

Description du poste

The HR Coordinator supports day-to-day HR operations across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, employee records, payroll and attendance administration, and HR reporting. Working closely with employees, managers and relevant stakeholders, the role helps ensure HR processes are well coordinated, employee information is accurately maintained, and employees receive timely and professional HR support.

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment, Onboarding & Offboarding
  • Coordinate recruitment activities including managing job portals, job postings, candidate applications, interviews, reference checks and employment documentation.
  • Liaise with candidates, managers and relevant teams to support a smooth onboarding experience for new employees.
  • Coordinate probation reviews and follow up with managers on probation outcomes.
  • Support employee offboarding, including documentation, internal notifications and departure arrangements.
Employee Records & HR Administration
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records across HR systems, databases and personnel files.
  • Coordinate employee lifecycle documentation and records, including new commencements, employment variations, transfers, remuneration changes, changes in employment arrangements and terminations.
  • Ensure employee changes are accurately recorded and communicated to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
Payroll, Leave & Attendance
  • Support accurate and timely payroll processing by collecting, reviewing and consolidating payroll-related information.
  • Maintain and coordinate employee information relating to leave, attendance and overtime.
  • Assist employees and managers with general enquiries relating to leave, overtime, payroll administration and HR processes.
General HR Support
  • Maintain HR data and assist with HR reports and management information.
  • Monitor key employee dates and deadlines, including probation periods and contract expiry dates.
  • Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and managers and liaise with internal and external stakeholders on HR-related matters.
  • Support HR projects, employee initiatives and continuous improvement of HR processes and systems.
  • Maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive employee and business information.
  • Undertake other HR and administrative duties as required.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong English communication skills, with professional working proficiency in Mandarin.
  • Strong judgement and problem-solving skills, with a mature and professional approach to handling sensitive matters.
  • Proactive and organised, with the ability to follow through on tasks and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with employees, managers and external stakeholders.
  • High level of accuracy and discretion when handling confidential employee and payroll information.
  • Confident in using AI and digital tools to support drafting, research, organisation and day-to-day HR tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence in learning and using HR, payroll and recruitment systems.
