Job summary

Peters Ice Cream is looking for a motivated HR Coordinator to support our People & Culture team in Melbourne. You’ll help manage employee lifecycle activities, onboarding, training and engagement across a busy FMCG environment.

Ideally you have 2+ years in HR or administration, strong communication, organisational skills and experience with HRIS systems (Elmo is a plus). You’ll enjoy a collaborative, fast-paced workplace with flexible, hybrid options and staff benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in HR, administration or coordination.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with HRIS systems; Elmo exposure advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, inductions, employment changes, and offboarding.
• Coordinate recruitment activities, including interview scheduling, candidate communication, and onboarding administration.
• Coordinate learning and development activities, including training sessions, eLearning programs, and compliance training.
• Maintain employee records and HR systems, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
• Manage and administration of the Learning Management System.
• Prepare and analyse HR reports, people data, and workforce metrics to support the HR team and business leaders.
• Assist with employee engagement, wellbeing, and recognition initiatives.
• Provide support on People & Culture projects and team activities as required.

About the Role

As a member of the HR team, you'll assist in the coordination of key people processes across the employee lifecycle. From recruitment and onboarding to training and employee engagement activities, you'll help ensure our people practices run smoothly and efficiently.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has strong organisational skills, pays attention to detail, and is keen to learn and grow within a busy and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, inductions, employment changes, and offboarding.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Ideally 2 plus years' experience in an HR, administration, or coordination role.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

confidence working with HRIS systems, Elmo software experience would be advantageous.
