Job summary

The Health, Safety & Wellbeing (HSW) Manager Systems and Enablement at the University of Sydney leads a small team responsible for implementing and improving HSW systems, digital platforms, learning and communications across the university. You will ensure data integrity, governance, and effective delivery of the HSW Impact Plan initiatives.

The role requires senior HSW experience, strong change management skills, and the ability to work across diverse stakeholders in a complex university

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Work Health and Safety, Business, Information Systems, Change Management or a related discipline (or equivalent training and experience).
• Extensive experience in senior HSW roles with systems, enablement or capability functions.
• Proven ability to manage priorities, deliver on deadlines and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HSW Systems and Enablement team.
• Oversee implementation of the HSW Management System and Impact Plan initiatives.
• Own and enable HSW Digital Platforms.
• Develop and maintain HSW capability frameworks and role-based competency expectations.
• Set the HSW communications and engagement strategy.
• Ensure HSW systems support high-quality data capture.
• Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to enable system enablement, data analysis and communication outcomes.
