Job summary

The University of Sydney is seeking a strategic HSW leader to drive the systems and enablement function at a senior level. You will shape governance, assurance, reporting and digital enablement across the institution, partnering with University Executive and Senate to embed health, safety and wellbeing priorities.

Qualifications

Graduate degree in WHS or related discipline.
Extensive WHS experience with legislation and policies.
Proven leadership in safety culture and programs.
Experience leading multidisciplinary WHS teams in large regulated organisations.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of HSW Systems and Enablement objectives for the University.
Provide team leadership and manage budget.
Set and evolve the operating model for HSW Systems and Enablement.
Governance and reporting framework for HSW.
Lead the university-wide assurance/audit program.
Oversee HSW systems, digital enablement and continuous improvement.
