Job summary

QEST Infrastructure is seeking an experienced HSEQ Manager to lead and develop our HSEQ function across civil, demolition, remediation and construction projects. The role requires practical field experience, strong leadership, and a commitment to safety, quality and environmental responsibility.

You will work with project managers, supervisors and field personnel to embed a positive safety culture, manage ISO re-accreditation, and drive continuous improvement of our Integrated Management System

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years' experience in the civil construction and/or demolition industry.
• Strong leadership and mentoring experience.
• Solid understanding of WHS, environmental and quality legislation.
• Experience with ISO 9001/ISO 14001/ISO 45001 and integrated management systems.
• Ability to collaborate with project managers and field personnel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HSEQ function and ensure compliance with legislative and client requirements.
• Monitor HSEQ risks, performance and KPIs.
• Develop relationships with stakeholders and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Support project managers and act as the HSEQ representative in client meetings.
• Mentor and develop HSE Officers, providing coaching and guidance.
• Manage ISO re-accreditation, certification and audits.
• Oversee continual improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS).
• Guide incident investigations, risk assessments, site inspections, audits and corrective actions.
• Identify opportunities to improve HSEQ capability through training, toolbox talks and inductions.
