Job summary

FMS Group is seeking an experienced HSEQ leader to guide health, safety, environment and quality across East Coast operations. The role involves hands-on leadership, audits, investigations, and maintaining ISO certifications while supporting the day-to-day delivery of HSEQ services.

Reporting to the General Manager – East Coast Operations, you will travel to client sites and manage a small HSEQ team, partnering with operational leaders to improve safety culture and operational performance.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety or a related discipline.
• Senior HSEQ leadership experience in mining or heavy industry.
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and ISO management systems.
• Experience managing audits, investigations and integrated management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead East Coast HSEQ team and mentor staff.
• Maintain and improve HSEQ management system and certifications.
• Conduct internal audits and support external audits.
• Provide trusted guidance to senior leadership on HSEQ matters.
