Ivory Group in Sydney is seeking a hands-on Safety Officer to drive risk management and maintain safety standards across active civil construction sites. You will work directly with project leadership to ensure compliance with legislation and company standards on every site.

With 3–5 years of civil construction safety experience and a tertiary WHS qualification, you will develop site safety plans, conduct audits and toolbox talks, and influence crews to uphold a culture of safety.

Qualifications

• Tertiary WHS qualification required.
• 3–5 years civil construction safety experience.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Mining project experience is an advantage.

Responsabilités

A hands on safety role sitting within a busy civil construction business. You will work directly with project leadership to manage compliance, drive risk management and maintain safety standards across active sites. The expectation is high but so is the support.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.

• Tertiary qualifications in WHS or related field
• 3 to 5 years experience in civil construction safety
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• Experience with mining projects is highly advantageous
