Job summary

Resourceful Recruitment is seeking an HSE professional to support Brisbane commercial construction projects, ensuring safety across sites and coaching teams on safe work practices.

You will review subcontractor documentation, lead incident investigations, and deliver inductions while maintaining ISO 45001 on site. A Certificate IV in WHS and construction experience are essential.

Qualifications

• HSE experience in commercial building or construction.
• Working knowledge of the WHS Act 2011 (Qld) and construction codes of practice.
• Ability to influence site managers and subcontractors.
• History of long tenure with employers.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams to deliver work safely across Brisbane commercial construction sites.
• Run site inspections and audits, and coach site teams on safe work practices.
• Review subcontractor SWMS and safety documentation.
• Lead incident investigations and track corrective actions to close-out.
• Deliver site inductions and toolbox talks.
• Keep the ISO 45001 management system active on site.

Who you'll work for

What you'll do

• Support project teams to deliver work safely across Brisbane commercial construction sites
• Run site inspections and audits, and coach site teams on safe work practices
• Review subcontractor SWMS and safety documentation

• Deliver site inductions and toolbox talks
• Keep the integrated management system (ISO 45001) working on the ground, not just on paper

What you'll bring
